welcome to st. louis, home of the two most prestigious private schools in missouri.
peterson academy, and all boys school in the middle of town was established by michael j. peterson in 1842. it didn't get popular until the early 1900's. from that year on, parents killed to get their sons into the school. if you went to peterson, you became someone.
westover academy has a similar history. the school was founded in 1845. it is the most highly rated all-girls school in the country. the girls that attend the academy generally go on to do great things career-wise.
because these two schools are located fairly close to one another, they quickly became intertwined. the two schools had three dances together per year, allowing the boys and girls to mingle with one another. lately, any kind of event has been extended to either school by the other.
there are all kinds of different relationships among the students. enemies, friends, lovers, and the like. sometimes, there are bumps in the road when it comes to life in the academies. become part of the action and see what happens when love and hate collide.
